This hotel in Southwest of Tenerife is fully wheelchair accessible. The property is designed with wheelchair users in mind with ramps all over the place. The few steps you will meet it is easy to take the ramp instead. The area around is also pretty flat so you can wheel around but it goes downhill to the beach, so it will be a little bit hard on the way back or you can go by an electric wheelchair. The beaches close by have a beach wheelchair for rent so it is possible to go for a swim in the ocean but Mar Y Sol Cristianos currently does not have wheelchair-friendly beach mats, or accessible docks/swimming rigs that allow for safe entry and swimming in the open water.
All rooms have a wheel-in shower and most of the bathrooms have a raised toilet and hand rails. The hotel also offer electric bed, hoists, air-mattresses, electric wheelchairs, etc, for rent. It is a modern therapy centre with a variety of individually tailored and traditional treatments if you would like.
There is two large pools with hoists and ramps for easy access to the pool. One of the pools is heated all year around with a temperature 32 celsius. If you likes to do sports it is a big accessible sports hall you can use.
Wheelchair accessible transfer and adapted car hire for drivers with disabilities. If you would like to go somewhere you can book a Mini-bus with elevator platform to transport wheelchair users.
